Turkey has been the cross road for
civilisations through-out human history. This beatiful
region does not only offer natural attractions but also
cultural sights of must see kind. A dream tour for bikers
are ready for Turkey, please find the sample itiniary below;
for individual bikers we offer this opportunity between 24
Oct. - 04th Nov. 2006.
1st Day
Arrival to the IST Airport, Meet & Greet at the airport
transfer to the hotel, dinner at the hotel. The bikes will
be ready nearby the hotel, the first and last opportunity
before we modify the bikes. Free time at the evening.
2nd Day
Breakfast at 08.30, Half day Tour of Hagia Sophia, Topkapi
Palace. We start with our Grand Tour from Sultanahmet Area,
by the sea we head to the North-west. For the first day ride
which is around 55 km to Silivri district of Istanbul. We
will use the road mostly by the sea, see the city walls and
reach Silivri at around 17.30. Than we will check into a
Silivri Hotel and leave the rest of the group for leisure.
Than we meet at Olta restaurant for the dinner with Turkish
mezzes, main course fish. 60 kms on bike.
3rd Day
Early departure after breakfast from Silivri with the
midibus, than move onto Tekirdağ. On the way we will
stop for Tekirdağ Köftesi (meat balls). Get refreshed
and move onto Sarkoy town of Tekirdağ. These are also
very nice towns with beaches however in order to see the
best sites we stil need to continue with the minibus. We
will see the Canakkale war Areas and monuments from the
first world war, than move on to Canakkale and catch up with
the boat at Eceabat.
4th Day
We leave Canakkale after breakfast and move onto Troia. Let
us start with the bikes, we decide what to do later. Than we
arrive the Troia of Archilles and Helen. Visit troia and
move onto Bozcaada for the overnight therefore we catch up
with the boat at 14.00. 62 kms on bike.
5th Day
After the breakfast we will start with the Bozcaada Island
Tour. We will visit various beaches at the Island have some
refreshements on get back with the boat at 12.00. We go to
Babakale Town. A small town of Canakkale, dinner and
overnight at Babakale. 23 kms on bike.
6th Day
After breakfast we leave Babakale to Assos, we visit the
Antique settlements and have our lunch and swim at the
crystal clear beaches. We visit the Antique settlements of
Pergamon. Dinner at village (gozleme), Overnight at Ayvalik.
32 kms on bike.
7th Day
After the breakfast we move onto Yenice and Bayramic, on the
way we see Kaz Dagi National Park, than we go to Bandırma
by our bus and take the last boat to Istanbul Yenikapı
at 20.30. Overnight in Istanbul. 54 kms on bike.
8th Day
Departure form the hotel to the airport for the return
flight.
Our coach will be awaiting for us at certain points thorough
out the whole tour, you are most welcome to use it whenever
you need to, do not forget your bike behind.
