Biblical Byzantium 10 Days

Day 1 : ISTANBUL 

Arriving Istanbul and meeting at the airport by our guide speaking English and transfer to hotel .Overnight at the hotel. 

Day 02 : ISTANBUL 

After breakfast full day city tour in Istanbul. Visiting St. Sophia, Hippodromme Obelisk of Theodosius, Topkapi Museum, St Chora Museum, lunch at a typical restaurant.Covered (Grand) Bazaar. Overnight at the hotel. 

Day 03 : IZNIK - BURSA - CANAKKALE 

After breakfast check out hotel for Canakkale. Across the Bosphorus and on the Asian Side of Istanbul, visit Kadikoy(Chalcedon), Iznik(Nicea) then on through Bursa to Canakkale to where you will stay overnight and have a dinner. 

Day 04 : CANAKKALE - GALLIPOLI - IZMIR 

After very early breakfast drive to Canakkale for Galipolli. Cross the Dardanelles by ferry boat. Visit Gallipoli Anzac Cove and the Places Associated with first Anzacs. Then cross again the Dardanelles by ferry boat and drive to the South to stay in Izmir.Overnight at hotel. 

Day 05 : IZMIR - EPHESUS - IZMIR 

After breakfast drive to Ephesus, visit to Marble Street, Odeon, The theatre the house of Virgin Mary, The remains of the Basilica of St. John the Evangelist, Bouleterion, Temple of Hadrian and Separis Library of Celsius. Overnight at hotel. 

Day 06 : IZMIR - ANKARA - CAPPADOCIA 

Early in the morning depart to Airport for flying to Ankara, arrive to Ankara and city tour in Ankara then transfer to hotel in Nevsehir / Cappadocia. Dinner and overnight in hotel. 

Day 07 : CAPPADOCIA 

After breakfast visit Goreme Valley, Chapels, Chuches, Zelve Valley, Underground cities of Derinkuyu and Kaymakli. Dinner and overnight at hotel. 

Day 08 : CAPPADOCIA - TARSUS - ADANA 

After breakfast departure to Adana passing the Cilician Gates and Tarsus birtplace of St. Paul. Then drive to Adana. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Adana. 

Day 9 : ADANA - ANTIOCH (B,L,D)

After breakfast visit to the Adana Museum. Then drive to Antakya where followers of the way were first called Christians (acts 1126). Visit religious places. Dinner and overnight in Antioch. 

Day 10 : ADANA - ISTANBUL (B)

After breakfast transfer to airport for final departure to Istanbul or home.
